How MoonMath calculates liquidity lock
Liquidity Lock & LP Evidence — How much of this pool's LP evidence is locked, burned or still unclassified?
The formula
Not a formula. Each LP holder in the observed pool is classified as burned, locked with a schedule, or simply an observed holder, and each share is that holder's balance over the LP token's total supply. Coverage is the share of supply those classified holders account for.
What it reads
- The chain and token address
- The provider's primary pool, its LP token total supply and its holder list
- Lock schedules with their end times, where the provider reports them
What it assumes
- Only the provider's primary pool is examined, and only where it is a fungible constant-product LP token
- A usable positive LP total supply must exist, or no shares are computed at all
- Coverage is top-holders only, so unreported LP supply stays unclassified
- A bare locked flag with no usable schedule is not normalised into a substantiated lock
What this does not establish
- Missing evidence is not proof that liquidity is unlocked or team-controlled
- A lock covers a share of one pool's LP supply, not the token's liquidity overall
- An unexpired lock does not establish that the position cannot be removed by other means
- There is no token-level safety score in the report
Run it
Inspect provider-observed LP locks, burned LP tokens, unlock dates and coverage for one explicitly identified pool. MoonMath keeps unreported LP supply unclassified and never turns a lock into a token safety guarantee.

This page describes MoonMath's arithmetic. The mechanics section describes the market: how an order book forms a price, why order-book depth is not the same thing as pool liquidity, and what a public book does and does not let you observe.
